Steps
- After you paste a client email, drop a contract, or type a line, Kroma shows a New deal card marked Not in the pipeline yet.
- Check who it is with, the fee, the work and the dates. A contract card also lists red flags and anything still missing.
- If something is missing, reply in plain words, like "the client is Northside Dental, $4,200, net 30". Kroma updates the card. Press Create deal (or reply "yes") when it looks right.
- If something is already filled in wrong, do not Create yet. Reply with the right value said plainly, like "the client is Northside Dental", "$4,200 not $2,400", "net 45" or "due Nov 20". Kroma changes the card and says what it replaced. You can also paste a corrected one-liner (for example "Halverson Bakery rebrand for $6,500 due Nov 20"), drop the file again, or press Create deal, then Open deal, and edit there.
- On the open deal: change the name at the top; press Edit fee under Deal value; fix Terms, Deadline and other dates in the side rail. Close when done. Edits save as you go (Changes saved).
Questions people ask
Can a reply overwrite a wrong brand on the card?
Yes. Say it as the brand, like "the brand is Northside Dental" or "it's with Northside Dental". A fee, payment terms or deadline works the same way. A stray number or date in a reply never replaces what the card already has.
A pasted email named the brand from the sender's domain.
Common right now (for example a domain squashed into one word). Correct it after Create, or paste a one-liner with the right name instead of the raw email.
Will Auto create a bad deal for me?
Cards from an email, a one-liner or a contract always wait for your click. Auto (Pro) only auto-creates deals Kroma suggests in an ordinary answer, and it tells you.
